The 2nd annual Women’s Heart Health Symposium, held April 26 at Gaillard Municipal Auditorium, attracted more than 300 women from throughout Charleston and the Lowcountry to enjoy heart health screenings, informative talks from MUSC Women’s Heart Care specialists, exercise demonstrations, a dance performance by Arthur Murray Dance Professionals, a Go Red fashion show, as well as shopping and door prizes provided by local merchants. Spearheaded by founder Beverly Seinsheimer and MUSC, the symposium also is an official Go Red for Women event endorsed by the American Heart Association. | |
