What is hiding in your heart? You could be at risk for a heart attack and not know it. Half of those who suffered heart attacks did not know they had heart disease prior to the attack. The sad reality is that for some, the first evidence of heart disease shows up in the autopsy. The MUSC Heart Center can help determine if you are at serious risk of heart attack. The first step is to determine if you have factors that could increase your risk. You can take the first step by trying the HeartAware Test and other heart health quizzes and calculators below prior to your appointment at the heart center. These tests are private and confidential and help you uncover potential health problems. They also educate you about heart health risk factors. These tools are for informational purposes only.
