Inspired by the ambiance of a fine hotel, the hospitality tower is a seven-story form containing 156 patient rooms.  All patient rooms are private, unusually spacious and have breathtaking views of the Ashley River and downtown Charleston.  Patient rooms also include a dedicated family zone with customized seats, work desks, and both wired and wireless Internet access.

The elevator lobby welcomes patients and visitors with expansive views of nature, a concierge and a comfortable lounge area.  The primary pathway to the patient floors is an arcade featuring recessed doors with soft accent colors, a gesture recalling Charleston’s famous entry doors.  Patient corridors are highlighted with accent colors, custom lighting and wood doors lined with glass.

Each patient floor will include a receiving area for families, and a liberal use of glass windows to help orient visitors and make it easy to navigate the expansive facility. Large dayrooms will give family members a place to relax and reflect in an uplifting environment overlooking the Ashley River.

Patient rooms feature a private bathroom, recessed lighting and finished maple doors and headboard. Warm colors, sun filled windows, and comfortable seating help to create a healing environment that is second to none.
